Our Process
- Selection of the healthy and right type of animal:
Our veterinary experts consider the type, health and size of the animal in the selection procedure. This selection is assisted by qualified and experienced food technologists.
- Zabiha slaughtering Procedure
Once the right animals are chosen, they are transported to our barn and kept in a healthy environment, feeding them with natural feed. We strictly follow the Zabiha methods when slaughtering these animals. Zabiha is an Arabic word, which means the animals are slaughtered according to the teachings of Islam. According to Zabiha principles, animals should not to be held captive and bolt stunned, but rather hand-slaughtered. Once the animal is dead, all the blood gets thoroughly drained from its system. This guarantees our customer with healthy meat, processed in accordance with the highest standards of clenliness and purity along with the most humane slaughtering process.
- Chilling / Blast Freezing
The animal carcasses are then Chilled in temperature and humidity controlled environment to retain maximum freshness or are blast frozen if required.
- Weighing and Packaging
We take the clean and quality halal meat to our state of the art chilled and hygienic packaging section. There we pack the meat as per the customer's requirements and get it ready for shipment.
- Fast and reliable service
With our freezers, chillers and refrigerated vehicles, We are able to supply our customers with fresh meat and meat products by providing the service level that our customers expect and duly deserve.
Quality Controll
FoodEx meat products are 'Halal' i.e. animals are slaughtered as per Islamic procedure. FoodEx always aims at providing the best quality meat to our clients. Properly devised quality control procedures are followed in selection, slaughtering processing, packaging and shipment of the product to ensure quality product at the dining table.
Infrastructure
We have state-of-the-art meat processing plants. The infrastructure is very hygienic as stipulated by the international standards. All our products are tested for stringent international quality norms. Extreme care is taken in our units during the procurement, processing and packing of meat and meat cuts.
